went ikea tampines grand opening today..1st impression sux..this is the 2nd consecutive grand opening that i had went,the 1st is vivocity & now ikea tampines..free shuttle bus was provided at certain locations, me & my bro went to woodlands then to find out that the next timing for the bus is at 3.15pm & it was just 2.20pm then..kns..then yan was already on her way to sengkang for her nearest shuttle..me then decide to take train back to yishun to catch the 3pm shuttle..took train here & there was a hassle & waste of money..(people,public transport expenses is super exp lo)..after we reached yishun,my bro wanted to go to his workplace to tell his supervisor that he will be late for work later (he got work at 6pm but the free shuttle from ikea tampines back to yishun was at 5.40pm)..after which we went back to the spot to wait for the shuttle just to find out that the "queue" became unbelievable so much longer than 5mins ago..i was like wtf..typical singaporeans..then when the bus came, people were all rushing to the doors lo, then wth did they bothered about queueing in the first place,disgusting people and aunties were pushing and squeezing to get through the pathetic small bus door, as usual i just took my time to go up and ended up standing all the way near the door..i felt so disgusted by the typical kiasuism in people and then decided to take out my hp to take video of the chaotic scene..reached ikea about 3.30pm then waste no time tried to look for the entrance, and guess what, the so-called entrance was blocked by gates and we were told to walk to the other end (which supposely was the car-park), and even have to queue up to go in ikea, actually the showrooms were quite similar to queensway ikea, walked with the crowds and dear managed to buy some items mainly for herself (a full-length mirror) , her bro (a plastic box) and her mum (a vase), my bro also decided to buy himself a mirror ($9.90 only), super cheap...and i ended up helping my bro carry the mirror home because he went to work directly..then i said a very stupid thing to dear, saying that i looked like i'm holding on to a surfboard (because i hold the full-length mirror horizontally)..*puke*..

it's been a long time since we last blog..went settler's cafe at holland v today, played several boardgames and it was fun..leisure cum relax..but the place is rather small & kinda squeezy..but it's cheap though...$6 for 4 hours and free-flow drinks..considered a good deal..been broke as usual these period..
